Spring 2026 Opportunities
Hi. My next two months are very busy.
I have two articles waiting for this Substack. The first is a modified version of the full presentation (that we didn’t have time to give in January) for Cadell Last’s Philosophy Portal series on Apocalyptarian Accelerationism. The second is Why I’m Against Gusto! They’ll drop at the right moment. Meanwhile, although some of the events I’m doing are private, others are available to the right people.
Two open events that I would like to highlight are:
PARALLAX FORGE: FIRST COHORT (online)
SPRING METAMODERN SPIRITUALITY LAB (in-person).
Here’s a little more information about these — starting with this overlay image of an actual forge & a fractal spiral.
“Parallax Forge”
Sundays May 3-24th
Parallax, as you know, is the complementary co-existence of two incommensurable perspectives on a single phenomenon. I would argue this is what Reality is built from. And forging is when you press ahead, or when you hammer hot metal into a useful shape. So what’s a Parallax Forge?
Over the past few years, I have innovated several courses for the online Parallax Academy. Everything from “Sacred Technology & the Sacred Feminine,” to the co-hosted neo-occultism courses on “The Teratogenic Mystique,” to last summer’s “Integral Theory for Idiots.” Recently, they approached me with the idea of an anti-course.
(Here’s their post about the course.)
The Parallax Forge is the beginning of a special ongoing project whereby we forgo lectures, philosophy, and knowledge transmission in favor of immediate, ongoing group work and exercises. No sitting and only listening. No recommended reading. No big pictures except the ones you help to create.
This will be the first of a semi-regular cycle of Parallax events that bring cohorts of participants more directly into self-evolving, community-building & future-building.
My job here is not my usual task of presenting trans-serious, alt-developmental philosophy, and neo-religious contemplations. Instead, I will be acting exclusively as coach, facilitator, and practice-prompter.
What is the best plausible future for yourself and the World? Let’s dig those out of each other and put them into confrontation. What’s preventing your life and our lives from getting way better? Who would you have to be to access the possible future that is hovering at the edge of the present? What role do your relationships and physical health play in that? What role do your dreams and madnesses play in that? How much sturdier, self-aware, magical, and pragmatic do we have to become together?
My job here is to put you to work.
Full spectrum future-crafting.

“The Sacred Arts”
June 5th (or 2nd) to 7th
The upcoming Spring METAMODERN SPIRITUALITY LAB at Sky Meadow in Vermont will be a collective plunge into Sacred Arts. Brendan Graham Dempsey and I will be racing back from ICON 2026 to usher everybody into the art of the Sacred and the sacredness of Art.
With the metamodernized Divine Muses as our guides, we will
build a collaborative immersive ritual,
explore the philosophy of God-as-artist,
embody the metamodern move beyond the performativity/authenticity gap
practice transcendental communion with religious artwork
undertake collective art projects that create “from the middle”
explore the psychotechnologies of aesthetic intelligence,
improve our Zen skills of precise object placement,
get better at making our own worldview mandalas and personalized mythologies.
etc.
Plus, we are inviting (especially for the people who come a few days early for the pre-retreat) people to bring and exchange the music, dance, painting, poetry, and photography that you’ve been experimenting with for years alongside your journey into Spirit, Complexity, and Meta-culture.
And if you have any favorite readings on the intersection of art & religion via a post-postmodern sensibility, bring those along. However, you may be forced to read them aloud.
Of course, we’ll have all the usual glorious things: deep hangouts, forest adventures, local organic feasts, meditation practice, chanting, mandala building, jokes, liminal gossip, saunas, farm work, and communion with the emergent “field entity” that we have been building. As well as visits from our blockchain friends, a first look at Layman’s Nietzsche book, and some in-house debates about the relationships between strategic and non-strategic spirituality.

These are the major upcoming ways to get involved in my work, either online or in person, this Spring.
